They opened up a dealer not too far from my house. I applied but they weren’t looking. Shop looks pretty normal. As someone that works with British exotics, i’d imagine the same issues both with parts and service. Mainly dealing with cheap ass customers (yes, CHEAP!) that only put 1,200 miles on them before buying something else. As for service, a trillion special tools, no support from HQ, and guaranteed parts back orders for weeks at a time.

I’ll say one thing, the factory is a super relaxing to be in. Honestly I felt my stress levels drop just by having a seat.

Also to be anyone visiting London, take note that the McLaren factory is just a short train ride away and neighbours Mercedes Benz world. A place where you can hoon an AMG for a hour for less than £100.

That is how I would love to build a shop. Definitely a place I’d like to see someday.

Seeing as how they’re super simple and low tech, it’s probably a breeze. Hand tools and a jack and you’re good.
